What happens after you send a message
- The server checks message size, session length, and request rate.
- Safety rules look for some urgent wording. They can miss risk or overreact.
- The scripted system matches supported topics to prepared replies. No AI provider processes the message.
- Resource suggestions come from a local directory; Bridge does not search the web or contact a service for you.
- A response policy checks boundaries and contact details before text appears. These checks do not establish clinical safety or effectiveness.
What never happens
Bridge has no browser, shell, email, text-message, location, campus-record, or emergency-contact tool. It does not silently contact anyone. It does not keep a profile about you.
Why responses stream after a pause
Bridge waits for the complete response to pass its application checks, then displays the text gradually for readability. The typing effect does not mean a live AI is composing a reply.
